I am a 45-year-old woman living in Sweden. I live in a small but beautiful village called Immeln with my family; a husband and two children. Professionally I am a teacher. I teach Swedish and English in upper secondary school so my students are 16 to 19 years old. I find teaching really fun and literature as well as linguistic matters such as communication are within my fields of interests.
Communication – what is that? That is a wide concept well worth looking into from different perspectives – a journey I will accompany my readers on. On this blog I will also give you short reviews of books I have read. I will write about the books in English mostly but there will be times when I will write in Swedish as well. I consider the blog as a reading journal for myself, as well as a mean to look back on my own reading. Another purpose of the blog is to have a possibility to discuss books with my future readers. I started the blog three years ago but I haven’t really used it on a regular basis. Hopefully, 2018 will turn out in another way for me and the blog.
